Global search function enables to search in text columns over all the classes in the system. The searched text can be entered in the textbox in the upper right corner of the screen.

It is necessary to explicitly set the indication of global search "Enable global search" at selected columns. By this you can control in which classes and columns you want to search. Therefore, support classes or static look up data can be easily excluded.

The search of a particular user reflects access rights.

Text occurence, not exact match, is searched.

User search statistics are available in a special model System utilities. This log can be used later on for analysing what the users search most frequently.

    Search by time

With global search you can trace all the changes in data from a certain date and time. You just define date and time from which you want to see all the changes in the page for search (Search.aspx). When you define also the text the search will be limited only to the records with the searched text.

Access rights to classes are reflected in the search by a common user. If the search is performed by Administrator, then all the classes are searched.

    Search by time

You can identify all the changes in records from certain date and time by means of Global search. Just enter date and time from which you want to see all the changes on page for search (Search.aspx). If you enter also text the search will be limited only to undeleted records with the searched text.

If the search is performed by a common user, class access rights are reflected. If the search is performed by Administrator, all the classes are searched (Administrator can search through everything).
